Let Me
Let me pierce your soul with my tears
Let me brighten your glow with my touch
Let me burst your eardrums with my words
Let me do that to you much
Let me make your body glow so I can see it in your face
Let me make your mind think so that i can pull you on my way
Let me make you get those butterflies that I like to see fly
Let me make you smile so that inside I cant see you cry
Let me embrace you lightly as to give you no fear
Let me do it close enough but far enough away that you know I’m near
Let me send your mind on a journey that I can adventure for
Let me be your friend nothing less nothing more
Let me sing you a song that you’ve never heard
Let me write you poem, let me be that bird
Let me close your eyes, be in your dreams
Let me be your reality, for consciousness is what I feign
Let me promise to you, for those I will never break
But you can keep your heart cause sometimes I make mistakes
Let me let me let me….forever, everyday…..I’ll do anything…all you got to do is say it :-)
