Let Me

Let me place a kiss upon thy cheek, Let me be here when things seem utterly bleak. Let me be your rock when everyone else is soft, Let me keep your spirit aloft. Let me take your hand, Let me take you somewhere surrounded by white sand. Lets go count the stars in the sky, That could never replace the light in your eyes. Let me be your saving grace, As I study the curves of your face. Let me suture your ruptured heart, So it will never again be ripped apart. Let me right all the wrongs done to you, Know that I will always be here to pull you through. Let me heal you with the love I have inside, But know for you I would give my life. So let me be there when things are not their best, Just be you and I'll do the rest.
