Notes About The Poem

Let it Rain

Sweet summer is ending,
autumn colors begin
to show in the hedgerow
while bees rush to harvest
the last lonely blossoms~
but wildfires are burning,
and we pray let it rain!

Amen - around the world, wild-fire and the prayer for rain as the metaphorical leaf colour erupts. Nice poem, and the picture is stunning too. J :)

A happy starting and may it has a happy ending and fire is under control. Congratulations.

Thank you. Here in the Pacific Northwest there are several wildfires burning. Everyone is praying for rain!
