Let It Go

Sometimes we lose track
of who and what we are
we try to be perfect
we hang on to words
meant to hurt
we hear those words that
were said cruelly and they stay
with us for years
we cannot seem to drop them
learning to let go is tough but
what was said or done
has no meaning in this moment
learn to let it go
learn to live
drop all negativity
to heal.

I will follow this today. Having an important meeting today with a self-centred 'idiot', who fits your description. I will be positive and maybe even keep stumm as much as I can. Thank you, Kai

Such good advice, Phyllis ! We only hurt ourselves by hanging on to the words others may have forgotten
