Let It Bleed

all it took was one person
to uncover my wounds
"let it bleed" she says...

all the things i covered up
all the bruises and the cuts
its time to let it bleed...

my soul wrapped in bandages
a heart thats inflammed
its time to let it bleed...

so many secreats i kept
all the men that crept
its time to let it bleed...

the child that could have been
the nightmares that began
its time to let it bleed...

since my words are like vapor
my tears and ink hit the paper
its time to let it bleed...
