Let her rest
Her tears have dried,
Her body is free – let her rest.
She has cried enough – release her, let her rest.
With all her pain and sorrow, she will weep no more.
Even if you call her name, she will not respond.
Even if she wished to answer, she cannot reply.
She is silent – allow her to rest.
She have cried enough, she will not cry again.
Her voice that was once heard will not be heard again.
She rests, she has taken off the garments of the troubled.
She has escaped the field of sorrow and sin – she is free.
She has escaped the pit of death – now she lives beyond death.
She has accepted the invitation to eternal life,
Where there is no pain and no suffering.
Let her go, she has gone, she is at rest.
Why do you weep? Death is death.
It is not meant for anyone, it is the enemy of life.
Beyond the grave, they say, there is eternal life.
She has gone to rest – yet you still weep.
She is silent, asleep, she will not rise again.
She is still with you – in your thoughts and memories.
She has fought the great fight – now let her rest.
Release her truly now – let her rest.
