Let Go the Ego

"I was right", and "You were wrong". The turmoil of noise , overblows along. Rage agitates, a scapegoat is blamed. Trapped in Ego, the "We" gets maimed. A deep breath , through my Wisdom tooth. As introspection , liberates the truth,... I control and cut off, the shackles of past. An exasperated Ego, finds peace at last. Dated 21st November 2018. Submitted to the Unrest of Spirit Poetry Contest Sponsor Julia Ward.

Egos always seem to get in the way of peace in a relationship or otherwise. Nicely done my friend.
