Let Go
when im blinded
this cant see you
and once im numbed
i wont feel you ever again.
we knew how to break the barriers
but this ones drawn the line
with counts of both our pain.
fallen far past this distance
but i can still smell your fear
of things you cant accept
knowing that theres worse to expect
from a life with too many lessons.
youve finally learned
now that we're both grown
that at times its best for us to let go.
