Lessons Unlearned

Although your both gone Yours souls out of sight This path that i've taken It doesn't seem right. What would you have said? Are you watching above? These memories are fading Reach out for my love. I sit there in silence The sounds are quite real My pulse won't stop racing The chill i can feel. What could you have taught me? Your guidence not earned If i could have listened To Lessons Unlearned.

Terrific write William. Nice rhyme, nice meter and lovely, intelligent message. If I may suggest...I think the word in the first line should be "you're". And I think "Yours" in the second line does not need the "s". If I am mistaken or my suggestions unwanted, I apologize. I do like this poem, however. Joe
