Contest: Lessons learnt in life 1 double etheree contest
Sponsored By Silent One
Quote 3 - Sooner or later everything you love… you lose

I never imagined I’d see the day When you drew your final breath and died Nothing can ever prepare you For the loss of a loved one No one lives forever Cherished memories Stay forever In our hearts And our Minds. Your Assets Are all gone Nothing remains Your home has been sold Life must go on for us Our time on earth is precious We don’t know when we will depart Family and friends can’t be replaced Material possessions mean nothing 2nd October 2015 Submitted to Any Form E contest Sponsored by Broken Wings Checked with how many syllables

This is so true Jan....material things mean nothing. An excellent Etheree! This form has become more and more popular. I love it. You know the Arkansas poet, Etheree Taylor Armstrong who invented the form was a woman! So cheers for your poem and for the form that landed you in first place! Congratulations! 7 ; )

I completely agree, I'm to the point that material possessions mean nothing, the whole perspective of life changes whey you are face to face will illness/death. this was a powerful and reality filled etheree, and a good win for you Jan, hugs xx

Yes we've both experienced life changing issues and your perspective does change NOT that we were particularly materialistic before Bob got cancer but Christmas 2013 all I wanted was for him to beat his illness and we just spent £10 on each other and this will now continue:-) hugs jan xx

It's galling when you find you hadn't done it quite right - happens to us all or we miss the contest deadline which is so irritating:-( hugs Jan xx
