Lessons From Kids

Lessons can be learned from kids Let's just state a few, come on! Toddlers can sure flush quick When your keys are in the John! Make sure to take it slow Holding baby in the air You won't laugh like your other At what's in your mouth and hair! Be sure to check your oven, Before turning on, is dire Oh no, is that my glasses, In the oven there on fire? A new lesson every day Easy taken with some style When softened by the magic, Of that child's angelic smile!

I had two boys so that second stanza brought back some yellowish memories. That third stanza reminded me of one time I came home my oldest son said "The turkey is taking a nap and Reagan's in the oven"...OMG! Luckily is was just a snafu of speech on his part! Love your poems... I always get a grin.
