Lessons

“Lessons the valuable dialogue we use to guide us through times in which we don’t have the answers. Let me start off by saying my heart is full and pain subsided with deep holes that can fill the ground in which we stand on. No longer filled with resentment or voids as time has healed those wounds and created a new journey with love and fulfillment. Although pained by all that I’ve lost I’ve found a way into my imaginative world and pursue the dreams with more happiness. That uncertainty I felt then is no longer felt as we recreate our journey through better memories and reinvent our path. The hate I once felt has turned to joy. The love I did have is now a refocus on myself. The gains that I’ve received only from the blessings above which hands and knees could not reach. For that I am grateful for every experience leading me to this point in which strength of the mind and a third eye can see ever so clearly through the darkness. The darkness that once attracted where a light- MY light dimmed. I found clarity and my brightness from within. Asking “God let me be more honest. God let me be more raw.” This became a testament to my words becoming law. This became the moment where I found peace without saying my piece.”

“…Found peace without saying my piece” I’ve read all so far and you have a gift. Your mind is unique because your personality is a bright LiT light; but your mind has another side. One can see it in your eyes if they pay attention. Some could get hurt. Others won’t mention. But if they what I see, with no question you have love, you “had” affection. If only you can get that back. If only, can life can give us some of my 9 lives back. -Poetry By Joey K

Thanks for sharing this. Welcome to Poetry Soup. I welcome you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
