Less than Bedazzling

I am speaking to Victoria
(my boa constrictor)
as I brush my hair
like Medusa
with words
and Persephone
methodically

all God's creatures
are great
maybe

Victoria
breathes in short puffs
with her black tongue
in my ear
and I hear beauty in it

I respect God
and all his Creatures
because he created them

methodically

“Stop acting like
a disgruntled
pelican!”

Only Catherine
(All ears on O’Hara)
Can pull that off

methodically
