Lemon Slices

LEMON SLICES

rivulets of condensation drip down
the sides of tall glasses-- iced water
lemon slices flavour refreshing reflections

I like the way you describe that marvelous drink. We need plenty of it in NYC because we are having a very hot summer. Peace & Love Matthew Anish

Very good verse is this.Enjoyed the read. The total syllables in a haiku should not exceed 17:))

... refreshing reflections. Mmm.. now just add a strawberry or two to the the mix and you got yourself the perfect summertime drink. Fabulous descriptions! I would say it's a bit lengthy considering it's a haiku... almost feels like it wants to be a sijo. But beside the point... still a great poem :)

Yip.. at a restaurant eating Pizza-- quickly scribbled these two down :) Another P/S member also commented on the format of this Haiku. I guess I am still learning. He said this is a 'modern Haiku' , and the old format is 5/7/5 or something like that... whatever.. enjoyed the drink.

Ok, your pizza post had me hungry. Now, I'm thirsty. You poetry creates quite the appetite, literally. :)
