I love simple prose my friend. Verses written for the masses- much of which became a very fine part of the golden poems of old. My favorite poet that wrote for the masses and was very famous in his time-is- the poet- Frank Libby Stanton. A great poet, philosopher and writer. Simplicity oft has a very powerful effect on we mortals. A fav.. God bless...

The lyrics hit home in today's world that is for sure. It never fails to astound me how some enjoy tearing each other from the inside out, like a pack of hungry wolves or an intelligence-lacking school of piranha, when in fact, we should be encouraging, empathetic and compassionate. For sure; simple can say more, and have greater impact and meaning, for being pure and direct -- cleanly from the heart. Don't know that time measures all, for somethings true beauty can transcend -- then there is the timeless, as is greatest love. Interesting write. Got me thinking. Probably got it all wrong.

All genres, certainly not disciplined. I think many people got it all wrong. You could be talking about a poem, a person, a life, religion, politics or humanity. Words and Poetry, can be translated/interpreted in many ways by an individual reader. It is what you feel, believe or not, and the thoughts you walk away with, that are of significance to you - as the reader, not the writer. Another writer reading a writer is a reader. Who wants to write like everyone else, who can? You write like yourself because you are pulling treasures and traps from within your soul, higher self, psyche. To attempt to write like someone else, is going against your true self. In your view, you may have got it right. Write?
