Image result for a Tree swing Blowing In the Wind

As she looked back through the truck glass At the swing blown by the brisk breeze In her small heart formed a crevasse Did it heal or only reprise Building 'til it became a trespass

Some memories can leave pain in the mind of a child . We do not know what troubles a young heart. Powerfully delineated, dear Sara.

Valsa, Yes, for a child a simple thing like a tree swing left behind can cause agony for that child at the next home. Your visits always add a special touch. Sara

Introspective + thought provoking. A child's heart in need of healing - pain lasting through maturity. Such a strong image of childhood hurt, movingly established in your first two lines. Quite a top notch write! Be well. Brian

Thank you, Anne-Lise. Some do and worse than that one. We just don't know what some children go through. Thanks for the visit and taking time to comment. Sara
