Leaves In Season
Luscious leaves brush against my face,
pulsing veins deep enough to trace
time with a wind gust embrace.
Maroon, copper, gold they dangle
glistening to sunset's angle
with zeal of wind chime's bangle.
Lully leaves descend freestyle
becoming a striking pile
beaconing a playful smile.
Before dried crunches can accrue,
lively, I toss a pile at you
and you become a child too.
