Leave Me Alone

The voices inside my head
remind me of the things you said
How you brought me down
and made me cry

All the pain you cause
is unbearable
I can't take it anymore
No one can

Why don't you just leave?
Make life  better for at least one person?
But you won't,  your whole mission
is to ruin everything, ruin us.

You said y ou'd leave,
but you never did. 
You keep coming back
causing more problems.

My birthday is coming up,
and I know what I'll wish for
I'll wish  for you, Dad, 
to leave me alone.

Janetta Harrington October 12, 2008 at 8:11 AM i can't say i love this poem because it is a subject that hurts so many peoples hearts. go, flee, seek help, seek any help and keep going until you are free. there are people that will help you. you are strong just to be able to write this. break the cycle you do not have to stand for this...ever. however if you do not get help down the line you will have terrible relastionships and you will push all this to the back of your mind and think, what is wrong with me. janetta
