Notes About The Poem

11/13/2025 for TEXTURE OF MINIMALISM Poetry Contest sponsored by Nette Onclaud

Leather

The predator
glimpses prey, wicked eyes meet,
graceful legs in motion,
clad in black animal skin.

The chase is on,
round and round, o'er hill and dale.
Finally, she succumbs.
Who's prey and who's predator?
