Learning from qualms of heart’s discomfort
Midst despair enveloping my soul
I have my God* as the best Teacher
Always ready to listen attentively
While I cast to Him all my cares
Constantly responsive with love and patience
Leading me toward paths of righteousness
Soothing my pain against afflictions brought by guilt
Offering pardon and peace blessings
Thus, my faith He strengthens
Propelling me to be praise-filled of gratitude glow
Empowered for blessed, blissful, serene service
Asserting, “I can do all things through Christ.”*
*Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
