Learning
All of my life I have tried to
Learn from each mistake, big or little
When looking at choices made
And promises bruised, battered or broken
You'll see that learning takes time to
Sink in
Real change only comes when
At last you accept yourself
In spite of your faults and mistakes
Not accepting or expecting the worst of you
Instead striving to live each day to its best
Never giving up or throwing in the towel
Giving yourself license to fall; but getting back up.
