Learned

I have learned to understand,
That I must trust the inner voice
That I would have never known true
I did not know how to pray, as I thought
But then, I have not learned fully
How to trust people.

Along with my sorrows deepening,
In that, I have known deeply
Has it come back my way?
'This inner voice saying;
Trust is where it's due.'

But then I felt my weaknesses,
His resilience I never really known—
But I am confident in my affirmation
Nor dreamt I, until I became stricken
He would see me through, as He has.

So, then I, deeply drink in my sorrows,
Drink deepening, too, with His grace
He sends the storms that we must face
So, He may bring us to His resting place.

His heart seeks our highest good,
Know's well, that things annoy too
We all have made our mistakes
It's part of our life
It needs to be embraced.

I will sure long for His Heavenly,
If Earth has not gotten
Is only His love being it with grace?
Then, do not be deluded in mind,
But, be aware!
