i always think it would be fun to have that date for my Bday, and be able to tell people I am only a very young age according to not having many birthdays on that date

I think the leap day should be the day that deer hunting usually starts. That way the deer get another safe day. This was a fine, interesting haiku.

As a non hunter, I'm all for your interpretation of leap day.
