Lazy Snooze Alarm

The sun looked tired this morning
Yawning stretched shadows over silent birds
Teasing nighttimes sleeping flowers
As its lazy snooze alarm hummed idly

Maybe the sun forgot to turn off its booze alarm last night as well...

Good descriptions, John. I don't use an alarm clock any more, just get up when my body says I'm rested. Not sure we've met, not sure I've paid you a visit. But now that I have, I'll be following your poetry and getting to know you. Have a great week! Bill

Now, Jan! How would you know whether John has a cock (erel) or not?! ~ X. Rae Vision
