Lay Down My Burden

The wicked rule the world wrong
The weak are overpowered by the strong
No matter how hard I try
It seems I can barley survive

Lay down my burden (lay down my burden)
Lift up my soul (lift up my soul)
I raise my hands (I raise my hands)
So all will know (so all will know)
My God is righteous My God is real
In in His time this sick world He will heal

The Path of salvation is stain with blood
Of Saints before us who preached His love
If this world forsakes me and mocks my faith
I will shout His Praises until it breaks

Lay down my burden
Lift up my soul
I raise my hands
So all will know
I will always praise Him
My God Above
For He dwells within us
By His love
