?????????????????????? picture of a typhoon

I wrote this poem when a very strong typhoon named Lawin (signal #5) hit my hometown /place.I didn’t sleep the whole night of Oct. 20, 2016. Instead, I spent time thinking about my family, praying for their safety. For those who were with me in prayer, thank you so much. God bless!

Your name is as huge as eagle’s wings, Lurking in the depth of the night; Trying to horrify me, Pounding mightily with your roaring fist, To take everything from me dead or alive. With your greedy claws, You want nothing to remain; But the sword that I have, Got the strongest shield. Much stronger than the million iron rods, And I’m not afraid. My armor is empowered within my heart From up above with grace. Like stone and sling I’ll gather my army as one David To hurl into your forehead like Goliath Shot and be fallen By these two things inside my heart Much bigger than an eagle To prey you away! ©2016Leonora Galinta All Rights Reserved Oct. 21, 2016 3.45am -not for a contest.
