Lavender shades are reflected In the shy sparkle of your eyes. As dawn reveals still purple hills In early morn's gloaming skies. Tall pines envelope us with bird songs In harmony's league with the wind. Lovers kissing in silhouette, As two souls intertwined ascend, Rising beyond. . .lavender skies A sacred dimension unseen. As above so below we seek To keep divine love in between. By this sacred love we’ve been blessed To share such happiness given. Two hearts with twin aspirations Shall dwell on Earth as in Heaven.  © Connie Marcum Wong

A beautiful poem built on true eternal love...both on earth and in heaven. Blessed are those who can benefit from its lingering taste. Imagery is great when dressed in lavender and purple. ~ Best regards. // paul

Both! Though it is storming today and through the weekend. It travels from here toward the east, so California can expect some wet weather in four days. Thank you Arthur. Aloha, Connie

Thank you very much David. I don't have much time to spend on poetry these days as I watch my granddaughter and she is 3 and half and growing so fast. Real nice to hear from you again. Aloha, Connie

Thank you Andrea. I appreciate you letting me know as I forget to check and then am so far behind. There are so many contests these days. I commend you for entering most of them. I just don't have the time or talent! It was a pleasant surprise with my top win in that contest. Hugs, Connie

Thank you very much Lin. This poem was inspired by soulmates who were together for over 70 years and died within an hour of each other in different locals.
