Lavender Paradise

Lavender Paradise

Leave the city behind
Take time and get away
There are places around

Ones where people dream of
A soft blanket of violet
Blowing in summer breezes

Walk out into the open
Away from all buildings
Turn your back on distant trees

Then just lie down and look at Heaven
Let the soothing scents surround you
Close your eyes and just let go

Enter a paradise you never expected
If you do, if you can
You will never be the same again

Reading this delightful poem I get a feeling of freedom and serenity...getting away from it all! ~ Regards // paul
