Lavender Love

Your words are like cotton candy
Soft sweet sticking to me all sugary
What is unique is our periods of silence
They are just as sensual and gold
For when we next connect nothing is digressed
We fall back into a lavender love nest of art
And it is like we are stars that never part in heart
I almost hesitate to chase this dream you are away
Thinking to partake of reality would be too great
Yet optimistic I am and must be to love you a king
And for as long as you will have me I am your queen

You’ve expressed so well that even though love and its connection is separated from across the miles, it is not separated from the heart itself.
