Launching a Neutral Line

To protect and serve
   Is a blue line blurred
   In a dated colour scheme

I would not be a police officer now for all the tea in the Boston Harbor. I wanted to at one time, but it has become a dangerous job. "Dated colour scheme" - this has such a terrific underlying current.

A lot of my family worked in forensics at RCMP, and I have a cousin who is a police officer... she is a lovely person, I can't imagine her being at all racist, I must assume she is one of the good ones. But like the Stanford experiment showed, our pack mentality can get the better of us. xomo

The barker yells, "Gather round folks to see the freak show oddities of Blue bloods and red boned hounds. Only for a dollar."

Awesome that is. It sure is fun to have a functioning brain I must say. I am such a better place these days. x

Isn't it funny how the brain functions. I laugh therapeutically everyday.

And forgive them for they know not what they do won't work, the Stanford prison experiment already proved that. Sigh and love and peace my friend, xomo

"old fashioned bias" indeed! I could hardly stomach my grandmother's racist spewing near the end, if that comes with age, well I will stick to forever young thank you. If everyone with a conscience stood up, might the rioters be outnumbered?

The Stanford prison experiment, except schools are out and guns are in. As I like to say, we are too smart to function. Don't the bobbies have billy bats? RSD xomo

It is scary and sad. Police used to be respected members of the community, now they are feared and perceived to be above the community; within my lifetime. It is sad, especially for the good people who wear the badge. Several members of my family worked for the RCMP. xomo

Thank you my dear! Well... "change in the till" breaches that theme. ;), and OMG, just watched a documentary on the Eldarly Guardianship "system", talk about rape and pillage. Horrifying! ...let me just cash in all your assets and set you over there to die. Grrrr (sorry, hugs!) xomo
