Latter-Day Psalm
Whatever I do, it is never enough
Or it always ends up being much too rough.
There is never any satisfaction
It always ends up just a fraction.
What does it take for me to succeed?
What does it take to get what I need?
Is what I need and want so wrong?
Must I always have to string along?
They all "know" what everything is,
Except that when I pose that quiz
They never want to answer me,
They always want to lecture me.
Do they really know what is true?
Or just want me to think they do,
So they can go away happy
Leaving me feeling so crappy.
