Lately I have been lying

Lately I have ignored your smile
Lately I have ignored your words
Lately I have ignored your wisdom
Lately I have ignored you guidance
Lately I have ignored your help
Lately I have ignored your love
Lately I have ignored your peace

Lately I have lost your smile while I was running
Lately I have lost your words while I was hiding
Lately I have lost your wisdom while I was hoping
Lately I have lost your guidance while I was dreading
Lately I have lost your help while I was missing
Lately I have lost your love while I was crying
Lately I have lost your peace while I’ve been lying

Lord give me back your smile
