Late Revenge

You couldn’t excuse yourself, could you With me it was a fall from grace You think you’ve done what you should do At our very early phase The obstacle that really mattered Was our sincerety and trust A nuisance that you must have tattered Because you knew this love would last Does it provide a compensation This late revenge, is it a start Of a new phase in life’s ascention A Jacob’s ladder of depart? I guess you thought about this Cause it looks pointless otherwise To throw your love into abyss In dire hope that truth was lies.
