Late Autumn In the City
Cold wind in the
morning
frees the mind
as
light
pours
down
from the heavens
Here on this blue planet
we wait patiently
for the crystalline white
of winter
Leaves dance on the
ground
In the distance - laughter
streets are packed
with thousands
of individual souls
Rushing, rushing
Cars inch forward
Coffee carts
serve how liquid
to workers - blue and white collar
Sparkling eyes in the city
Doors open
the masses enter
