Line, from my perspective you effectively relate how thoughts of disappointment can plague us "Late at Night". Especially gripping is the image evoked in the second stanza. I also love the earnest effort displayed in trying to strengthen the memory of our loved ones. Congratulations on your win on Mile 11 of my 2022 Poetry Marathon Contest.
