Lasting Things
I marveled that he remembered not only the venue
but also, the yard line we were seated on nearly
50 years ago. He was barely a teen when my wife
and I took him and several other young kids to
a Billy Graham Crusade some 150 miles away.
It was not only the largest event of their lives, but
perhaps the most memorable and life-changing.
So, when Vincent reminded me of that treasured
venue and that we were seated on the 50-yard line,
my heart was deeply warmed. Moreover, I was reminded
to continue pursuing the 'Lasting Things' of life.
