Lasting Peace

LASTING PEACE When we face the fiery trials of life, We wonder when shall be the end of strife. In God's army we have daily fought, Yet in our hearts for lasting peace we've sought. We long so much for what God has promised us, And hope that we are quickly learning trust In our God who made and bought our soul. We wonder some if we are letting Him control. And yet we find bright spots here below That reveal He will never let us go. For His love always remains the same, Thus His victory we can safely claim. It won't be long before He rescues us From this world so full stain and rust. And takes us to a place so fresh and true, Where we can start a peaceful life anew. Copyright, Kathryn Search
