Last Walk
I am running the last mile in my life,
The age and tired feet have made my run to a limping walk,
still, I walk and walk to the beacon of hope,
Never let the pessimism take over the last straw of my hope.
Sometimes I fall, to get up and keep going again,
Sometimes tired I stand to watch the cycle of life revolve around
my eyes,
Sometimes I feel loved, sometimes I feel ignored,
Sometimes I feel the time has passed by me, still I see my soul's
destination in front of me.
In the journey of life my soul is searching for love and peace,
The feeling of love where I will lose the existence of mine,
The sense of peace and tranquility where I would not hear my
melancholy songs again,
I will walk miles looking for until I fall and can't get up again.
I meet so many souls on my way with troubled mind,
confused about the goals and destinations of their life,
Some say I am old, I don't want to live,
They will have to walk with me enjoying the virtues and glory of
their life.
