Last Train To Nowhere

I could hear the noise coming from his head
I chose the lesser of two evils quickly instead
I tried to move away and escape all the sound
But it was too late my intentions had been found
I could hear the words but they didn't make sense
He said " I can hold the world wrapped up in suspense "
To find out what he meant I would have to stick around
If I could weather the storm I knew I wouldn't be let down
So I asked him the question that I knew I'd regret
The answer that I got was one that I never will forget
He said " You are the Joker and I am the King "
" Inside my head are the answers to everything "
I knew right away it was time to make my escape
Had to get out fast, cut thru all the red tape
The last train was leaving so I had to be fast
I would soon be on my way, leaving at last
Once I got to the train it turned into a big boat
Since we were out in the Prairie I knew it wouldn't float
I looked out the window and saw the smirk on his face
That's when I realized I was never leaving this place
