The song I usually sing is one of self-love,
What I wish you'll believe, akin a moon above.
My hands carry identical atoms to yours as well,
As I admire a June grass sprout, I rest and dwell.
Each grain of diligent sand depicts one second.
This is my existence as a sandcastle, reckoned!
My youthful sky looked clear on fireworks night,
A glow of elation from a first kiss is full of delight.
Dancing in infatuation, avoiding reality,
My soul plays hide-and-seek to find vitality.
I'm weak, achy, wrinkled, and have hazy eyes,
Clock ticks near last kernel of grit in a web of lies.
Out of gloom shows growth, basis, and passion,
Always a weave of originality and distinct action.
Teaching and ignoring induce growth pointless.
This crux molds me unbent, strong, and fearless.
We're woken up by a steady flow of wind,
Inspiring lights have an effect on the mind.
Flying whims create a strange concept,
Rising strength is concealed in rotting neglect.
Avoid word traps in the eternal wise maze,
Pass to the depth of things, from soil to haze.
Trek into the dark forest to answer every race,
Which leads to a rise in full ability to embrace.
We raise calm tidal waves without a word,
Wishes set sail for an eerie journey incurred.
Where do the other half of our dive senses stay?
Free your soul, then grab her hand and sway.
A chase happened in brimful courage bay,
A brief peek at the facts that we hold dear.
And a dainty rainbow fading is making us say,
Fulfilled, I'm ready to cross now, without tears.
