Last of a Dying Breed

I'm tired of living in a world where people struggle to keep it real How can we have world peace when we can't get the streets to heal? Going through things we don't need to feel I'm the last of a dying breed because I still speak so real Use your words wisely and make sure you get heard Choose your words carefully, your mouth is what will get you hurt We cause most of our own problems, some won't admit that When the world is in distress, I can't just sit back You need to find peace with yourself before you do it with the world We hide our feelings, but it's easier if we go through it with a girl A man is only as strong as the female who holds him I haven't been held in a long time, but learnt how to express my emotions Don't complain about your journey when you haven't started stepping yet The rain washes away the pain so stop crying about getting wet Fight your demons and be the the person to bring depression death Don't try to teach the world if you don't fully understand the lesson yet We all miss a girl even if some are too prideful to admit that If it's a girl that got away, we messed up with or one we want to get back Some things end so better things can arrive Sometimes we just have to accept that and stand aside Everything is borrowed, nothing is ours forever Don't become a victim of your own treasure Cherish it all while you have it Don't start to cherish it after it's gone and you can no longer grab it I'm tired of living in a world where people struggle to keep it real How can we have world peace when we can't get the streets to heal? Going through things we don't need to feel I'm the last of a dying breed because I still speak so real
