Last Letter

You smile everyday,
act like everything is always okay,
but they can’t feel the pain inside,
they can’t see what you hide,
They act like they know you, they pretend they care,
they pretend they love everything you wear,
you're life is perfect is all they say,
but they don’t know how you feel each day,
they say they will love you, forever and ever,
what that really means is I won’t ever love you, never, no never
They wouldn’t see the scars,
wouldn’t see the pain,
wouldn’t see you everyday crying out in the rain,
they think you have it all,
think you're life’s a dream,
but they don’t know what it feels like, to never be part of a team,
when you decide you're life is over, decide it doesn’t matter,
decide your heart won’t get better, as it just keeps turning blacker,
Nobody cares, no one ever did,
you have been living this life since you were a kid,
it isn’t gonna change, won’t get any better,
might as well write your last letter
“Thanks for making me realize, my life was no big deal,
thanks for being my friend, but I know you were never real,
thanks for never caring, or learning about my life,
thanks for always assuming, assuming everything was alright,
thanks for making me feel, like a worthless peice of ****,
thanks for making me realize, I never really fit,
I hope you're lives are all better than mine,
I hope this is my last life, and I hope I don’t have nine,
sorry I’m leaving, not that you care,
sorry but life just isn’t fair,
this gun to my head, overwhelms me with peace,
Soon I will be flying up high with the geese,
I’ll fall down from above as droplets of rain,
this is my last goodbye, hope I don’t have to see you again.”
