Last Call For Mrs Love and Mr Freedom

Are they ghosts inside the radio just a beggars song living on the street an echo within an echo all the songs of love and peace All the poets and the songsters the authors freedom written in their pen humanities wish tapped out on typewriters to be sensed but ever missing, over and over again How many years and how many verses how many seers from the human heart etch the voice of us all in a question screamed in tirades and in whispers When will be the rights of freedom what of all the promises of peace if and when and where do they begin and where is the love Are they just phantoms haunting the music just a hippies salt within the tears a super tramps diary for all the misfits and does anybody hear All the writers and composers their decenniums pages sown in the wind the lost pamphlets of prophets and saviors all the words of love and peace How many years and how many sentences utter the calls of liberties cry how much is written in so many languages how much more time and how many more centuries have to go by When will there be the rights of freedom and what of all those promises of peace if and when and where do they begin for our children and where is the love
