Last Breath

Last breath
Remembrance of the sweet life..
The sweetest of honey..
When you fell into my arms
And..
Into my life..
The splendor that you are
I only wish I could be..

Last breath..
Before you..
There was hopelessness..
Before the sweet life..
There was bitterness..
Sour and somber moments..
The splendor that you are..
Had given me hope..

Last breath..
Your inspiration had taken me on a journey
A love journey
Where I never knew love..
Where love had made us one..

At sunrise I rise with you..
As your smile captivates my heart
At sunset I stay with you as we embrace..
Your striking beauty touches my heart..

Last breath..
Is the breath I take at this precise moment..
Within that moment I shall rise..
Lifted above I am..

Last breath..
When you take your last breath..
At that precise moment..
Within that moment you shall rise..
Lifted above you are..

We both rise..
Together..
Our souls are lifted as one..
