Lanterne- Death Quaternion
An
empty
widow's bench-
sorrow fills its
place
Tall
nettles-
the Dutch hoe
rusting in the
shed
There
he sits
sorrowing-
weeping over
life
His
window
on the world-
her epitaph
read
a lanterne is a half
American cinquain
