Land Line Disconnected
Sent out the
Troubles
On a strand
Into space
Floating in
Internal light
That is
Until the sun
Burns out
They said my
Balloon of hopes
Wouldn't get far
On polluted air
And heavy gravity
But I blew it slow
And steady
Tied the string
Oh so tight
Watching it in
The sky
From my unstable
Grounds
Shaking my morality
Down
But my equilibrium
Won't be tilted so
Easily
Sent out the
Message
Long ago
I'm still standing
Waiting for the
Sky to give me
A reply
Either that or
For the sun to
Go out
