Lake Morning

Powdered gray, the moss,
intricate lace, decorates
giant cypress on the shore
gnarled knees offer post
where watchful birds keep vigil-
holy lake sanctuary.

How beautiful. God's handiwork is always a source of comfort and joy. I've just gotten back from holidays. I understand you're still on vacation. Enjoy, my dear.
