Lake America

About 235 years ago give or take a day Groups of pirates, adventurers, thieves and whores Flocked like lemmings to these shores Here they breathed the pristine air Planted roots and learned to share A growing feeling of a common goal A glorious steering to miss the shoal Dormant seeds of freedom sprout Amazing words of freedom they did shout These amazing words got written in a Declaration The founding brick of our new nation The bounty once learned it was beyond ample More than enough for all to sample Hiding in the shadows an influential few Plot to control it for us that ain’t new? The beginnings rot of a sequel The day we pointed and said, “They are not equal.” Our golden lake in which we are a drop Tasted pollution and began its rot The water pumps ceaseless flow Stagnation and pollution began to grow Pumping from the bottom up to the top Working perpetual to make it flop Oh we had the right and responsibility not to go Silently we stand here and scuff our toe Yes we own it all the papers are clear Mindless puppets in our fear Fear is crippling and that’s a fact Get in the wheel chair or take it back Not guns, or knives and bombs Just say no refuse to go along If you ask there is a solution A way to refresh the lake with a kindness REVOLUTION Remember no lake is pure if its drops are polluted, and America is at 20% pollution (citizens at or near the poverty level.) So far History has only shown one result of this condition…violent revolution (read the newspaper it has begun). We can once again show the world a new paradigm” Humaneomics”, and in one generation “We the people”, can once again be free. The world will no longer want to fight us…they will work to become us.
