Laid Off

Sad day at my home,
     Job lost right before Christmas,
What will I tell my daughter?
Living with unknown,
Can't sleep at night, so restless,
          Blood can't get any hotter.

“It will all work out”,
But I can't see how it will,
         My awful situation,
I wish I could shout!
I hope to be grateful still,
         This discontinuation,

Please don't pity me,
That's not what I'm searching for,
Can I get some prayers from you?
I'm left with debris,
    I can't take this anymore,
        Just wait for more interviews.
