Laguna Dreams
how i hold close the memories
the scent of ocean on skin
warmth of heartbeat
the sound of love that laid with me in dream
diamond shine on blanket of midnight sea
a promise of forever from wave to shore
holding close each wish of evermore
how i long to be the breeze
carried through the window
by invitation of boulevard lights
sheer curtain whisper in certain dreams
that love have a place
of telling and retelling each night
my heart never sleeps
nor forsakes each truth
that in dream
and in wake
my love, it lives for you
